Set Up Your Seller Account
Before your first listing goes live, you'll need a verified Bidflag account. It takes a few minutes and keeps the marketplace trustworthy for buyers and sellers alike.
- Sign up with a valid email address.
- Verify your identity and payout details.
- Set up where your payout should be sent.
Create Your Listing
A good listing helps buyers bid with confidence. Include enough detail that a buyer knows exactly what they're bidding on.
- Clear photos from multiple angles.
- An honest, specific description of condition.
- Any known defects or wear.
- A starting price and auction length.
Buyers Compete for Your Item
Once published, your listing enters the live auction feed. Buyers place bids that are public, timestamped, and binding.
- Each new bid must exceed the current highest bid.
- Bid history is visible on the listing.
- A bid in the final minutes may extend the auction slightly, so it can't be closed out by a last-second bid.
Notifications
You don't need to watch your listing constantly. Bidflag lets you know when it matters.
- Alerts when a new bid comes in.
- Reminders as your auction nears its close.
- A summary once the auction ends.
Setting a Minimum
If you'd rather not sell below a certain amount, you can set a reserve price when you list.
- The reserve stays hidden from bidders.
- The item won't sell unless bidding reaches it.
- You can remove or adjust it before your first bid comes in.
Listings without a reserve tend to attract more early bidding, since buyers know the item is guaranteed to sell.
Highest Bid Wins
Your auction closes automatically at the time you set. The highest bidder wins and is notified immediately.
- The winning bidder completes payment through Bidflag.
- You'll be notified as soon as the sale is confirmed.
- If your reserve wasn't met, the item simply doesn't sell.
Describe Items Accurately
Buyer trust is what makes bidding work. Every listing should reflect the item as it actually is.
Misrepresenting an item's condition, authenticity, or defects may result in a cancelled sale or account restrictions.
Shipping & Payout
Once a sale is confirmed, Bidflag handles shipping on your behalf — you don't need to arrange or pay for it yourself.
- Shipping is managed by Bidflag, not the seller.
- Tracking is generated and shared with the buyer automatically.
- Your payout is released once the sale is complete.
