We're here when something goes wrong

Review the information below to understand how eligible purchase and transaction issues may be addressed on BidFlag.

01

Accurate Listings

Sellers are expected to provide honest and accurate information about their items, including condition, material defects and other information relevant to the transaction.

02

Secure Transactions

Buyers should keep transactions within BidFlag and use the applicable Platform purchase and payment process rather than attempting to bypass BidFlag's transaction system.

03

Issue Resolution

When a legitimate transaction problem occurs, buyers may use the applicable BidFlag support, return or dispute process.

When should I contact BidFlag?

Buyers should contact the seller first when appropriate. If the issue cannot be resolved, BidFlag may be able to review an eligible transaction issue under its applicable policies.

  • The item materially differs from the listing.
  • The item arrives damaged.
  • The purchased item has not been received.
  • You received an incorrect item.
  • The seller has failed to fulfill an applicable transaction obligation.
  • You believe another legitimate transaction issue has occurred.

What should I keep?

Buyers should retain information and evidence that may help establish what occurred during the transaction.

  • Order and transaction information.
  • Listing screenshots or relevant listing details.
  • Photographs of the item.
  • Photographs of damaged packaging.
  • Shipping and tracking information.
  • Relevant communication with the seller.
  • Other information relevant to the transaction or reported issue.

What happens when I report an issue?

The applicable support or dispute process may involve reviewing the transaction, listing information, communications, shipping information and other relevant evidence.

BidFlag may review available information and determine what action, if any, is appropriate under its Terms & Conditions and applicable policies.

When may a buyer receive a refund?

If a seller fails to fulfill a transaction within the applicable required period, the buyer may be entitled to a full refund, including applicable shipping charges, subject to the applicable BidFlag procedures and circumstances of the transaction.

Returns and refunds may also depend on the applicable listing terms, seller return policy and BidFlag requirements.

What isn't covered automatically?

Buyer Protection does not mean that every transaction or circumstance is automatically eligible for a refund, return or other remedy.

Eligibility may depend on the item, listing terms, seller policy, transaction circumstances, available evidence and applicable BidFlag policies.

A seller may offer a “No Returns” policy where legally permitted, provided that the policy is clearly disclosed in the listing. A “No Returns” policy does not excuse fraud, material misrepresentation, unlawful conduct or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.

Important

Buyer Protection must be used honestly. False claims, fraudulent evidence, returning a different item, intentionally misrepresenting a transaction or abusing the dispute process may result in account restrictions, suspension or termination in accordance with BidFlag policies.

Keep your transaction on BidFlag

Buyers should keep purchases and related transaction activity within the BidFlag website and associated application. Users may not circumvent BidFlag's transaction system by arranging payment or completing transactions outside the Platform to avoid BidFlag requirements.

Buyer responsibilities

  • Review the listing carefully before placing a bid.
  • Place bids only with genuine intent to purchase.
  • Complete payment for winning bids within twenty-four (24) hours.
  • Provide accurate information when reporting an issue.
  • Follow the applicable return, refund or dispute process.
  • Keep relevant transaction and shipping records.
  • Protect your BidFlag account and login information.
