Our Dispute Resolution Policy explains how BidFlag handles disagreements between buyers and sellers and how transaction issues can be reviewed.

Resolving Transaction Issues

We encourage buyers and sellers to communicate directly and work toward a reasonable solution whenever possible. When an issue cannot be resolved, BidFlag may review the matter through its applicable dispute process.

01 — When to Contact BidFlag

When to Contact BidFlag

You may contact BidFlag when a transaction issue cannot reasonably be resolved with the other party or when the matter requires platform assistance.

  • An item is materially different from the listing.
  • An item arrives damaged.
  • An order has not been received.
  • A seller has not fulfilled a legitimate transaction.
  • A buyer or seller believes a transaction has been affected by prohibited activity.

Before opening a formal dispute, buyers and sellers should make a reasonable attempt to communicate and resolve the issue directly.

Clear communication can often resolve issues more quickly than a formal review.

Keep communication respectful and focused on the transaction, item condition, delivery or other specific issue involved.

If the issue cannot be resolved directly, the affected party may contact BidFlag through the applicable support or dispute process.

A dispute request should clearly explain what happened and what resolution is being requested.

Providing complete information helps us understand the circumstances surrounding a transaction.

  • Order or transaction information.
  • Listing details.
  • Relevant messages or communications.
  • Photographs of the item or package.
  • Shipping and tracking information.
  • Any other relevant supporting information.

Review Process

When a dispute is submitted, BidFlag may review the information provided by the buyer, seller and other relevant transaction records.

The review may include the listing, transaction details, communications, shipping information and other available evidence.

  • No action where the transaction complies with applicable requirements.
  • A return or refund where applicable.
  • Assistance in resolving a transaction issue.
  • Removal or correction of a listing.
  • Account restrictions where policy violations are identified.

Evidence

Parties involved in a dispute should provide truthful and relevant information.

Evidence may include photographs, listing information, shipping records, tracking details, receipts or relevant communications.

Buyers and sellers are expected to remain respectful throughout the dispute process.

  • Do not threaten or harass another user.
  • Do not submit intentionally false information.
  • Respond to reasonable requests for information.
  • Keep communications relevant to the transaction.

Fraudulent Disputes

Disputes must not be used to obtain goods, money or other benefits through deception.

  • False claims about an item.
  • False claims that an order was not received.
  • Altered or misleading evidence.
  • Returning a different item.
  • Repeated abuse of the dispute process.

Sellers may raise disputes involving unpaid transactions, fraudulent buyer activity, inaccurate claims or other legitimate transaction concerns.

Sellers should provide the relevant order information and supporting evidence when submitting an issue.

Buyers may raise disputes involving items that are materially not as described, damaged deliveries, missing orders or other eligible transaction issues.

Buyers should provide accurate information and relevant evidence to support their request.

Auction-related disputes may be reviewed according to the applicable Auction Rules and transaction policies.

Bidders should understand that placing a bid represents an intention to complete the purchase if they become the winning bidder.

We aim to review support and dispute requests as promptly as reasonably possible.

Response times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and the information required to complete the review.

Account Restrictions

BidFlag may restrict or suspend an account where the available information indicates fraud, abuse, manipulation or another violation of applicable policies.

Final Review

BidFlag may make a determination based on the information reasonably available during its review.

Parties should cooperate with reasonable requests for information during the process.

BidFlag may update this Dispute Resolution Policy as our marketplace, services or procedures change.
